A Whistledown of a Reunion
Doug and Meg, formerly of the Spencer 35 Whistledown, were visiting in Seattle this week. The Sea of Cortez gang gathered for several rounds of stories and beer at the Sloop Tavern in Ballard.
I’ve traveled now for many miles
It feels so good to see the smiles of
Friends who never left your mind
When you were far away….
(From Rush’s Rivendell)
Here’s Doug and Meg aboard Whistledown anchored off Isla Carmen just north of Puerto Escondido:
Here’s an image taken almost two years ago to the day. We hiked across Isla Carmen with Doug and Meg and Fulvio from Soliton. Feels like we were on another planet! Few things in life are better than meeting up with old friends and recalling memories like these…..
Yay! Thanks everyone for all the good times!
When are we going to Hood River?
😀

Hi to the staff of the Zoo
What are Doug and Meg up to?
Are they still out?
Are you still planing on going out again?
We are still years from leaving.
We did move onto the new boat. After months
working on the floor. It looks really good now.
Q is a mess the floor under the shower rotted
out and had to be replaced and she needs a new
headerliner. Once she is back
togeather she will go on the market.
Kind of hard to see my home for so many years
mostly empty with dust every where.
We got six inches of whaterline back when we
moved off.
Hope all is well with you.
Cheers
Daryl
